The Art Show Theme for the 2018 Spring Semester is Great Artists!
This year we will be creating artwork inspired by famous artists like Pablo Picasso, Gustav Klimt, Andy Warhol, Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh. We will be learning about the artists, looking at their work, and discussing their individual styles.
Students are already creating amazing, original works of art. Please join us at our semester art show on Wednesday, May 23rd, to support our MES artists, and see all the incredible art for yourself!

If you are looking for additional art classes and events, check out the Nevada Museum of Art. Coming up in June and July, they are offering summer art camps. The dates are June 18th-22nd, and July 23rd-27th, from 8:30-noon. Kids will have an opportunity to sketch, paint, and hand-build with clay. There is also a "Fun With Clay" camp in July.
